Srinivasan Ramesh was born in 1994 into an ordinary family in Tamil Nadu — his father K. Srinivasan served as a temple priest in Maraimalai Nagar, and his mother S. Sumathi worked as a cook. After graduating as an engineer from ARM College of Engineering & Technology in 2017, Ramesh was drawn to public service through the Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, where he emerged as a passionate youth organizer mobilizing grassroots cadres across the Trichy region. When Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam was formally launched, Ramesh became a founding pillar — building ward-level networks across Srirangam. In the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, he won the Srirangam constituency with 1,03,235 votes, securing a historic margin of 33,590 votes. On May 21, 2026, he was sworn in as Minister for Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments in CM C. Joseph Vijay's cabinet — the youngest minister from Trichy district.
